What it is about

Eric Berne presents transactional analysis through recognizable social ‘games’: repeated exchanges whose surface subject hides a familiar emotional payoff. The Parent, Adult, and Child ego states provide a simple model for tracking how people shift roles, invite responses, and recreate scripts in work, intimacy, conflict, and dependency. I keep it on this shelf because I want to be slower before I turn a feeling into a verdict.
