What it is about

In this illustrated collaborative volume, Carl Jung and colleagues introduce the unconscious through dreams, symbols, myths, archetypal patterns, modern art, and individuation. It is Jung’s most accessible entry point, but it remains interpretive psychology: symbols are approached as living, context-dependent formations rather than entries in a universal decoding dictionary. Its place here is personal: I want the argument to meet the life I am actually living.
