Robert C. Martin presents principles and examples for naming, functions, comments, formatting, objects, errors, tests, classes, systems, concurrency, and incremental cleanup. The book argues that maintainability is an ethical and economic responsibility, expressed through continuous attention to small design decisions. I need this book close whenever I start thinking the question has become simple.
