What it is about
I did not want Masculinity, Gender, and Culture to remain language I only repeat when it sounds intelligent. The Descent of Man gives Grayson Perry a place on the shelf, and gives me a reason to sit with the way power reaches private life and makes some people disappear from the default story for longer.
